David Roman

Vice President, Strategy @ Baxter

David Roman is a Vice President at Baxter International, where he leads Global Strategy for the company. In this capacity, David is responsible to develop the company’s enterprise-wide strategy as well as collaborate with business leaders to drive implementation. David is a member of the CEO’s Senior Leadership Team (SLT) that is charged with leading major corporate initiatives, managing organizational development, and supporting major strategic decisions. Prior to joining Baxter, David was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs in the Global Investment Research Division. David was at Goldman Sachs from 2009-2016, during which time he maintained primary coverage of the US Medical Technology sector. In 2015, David was appointed Co-Deputy Business Unit Leader for the Healthcare team. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, David was a Vice President at Morgan Stanley where he also covered the U.S. Hospital Supply and Medical Devices sector within the firm’s equity research division. David holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Romance Languages (2004) from the University of Pennsylvania.
